Nashville Artist Photography- Shear Vocal Studio

A few weeks ago Lindsey and I received a call from Sophie Shear, of Sophie Shear Vocal Studio, inviting us to come out to a special session her vocal studio was hosting at The Rutledge, and since Sophie and her husband, Jordan are some of our favorite people we said, "Heck Yeah! Count us in." We had such a fun night photographing all of the AMAZING talent. Here are a few images from the night. Enjoy!

Fun Fridays!

Recently, I was talking to a friend who teaches 5th grade at a nearby school and she was telling me how every week on Friday they end class 45 minutes early so the kids can have what they call "Fun Friday." I love this Idea and am going to try and implement it here at DLimage with the "Fun Friday" blog post, where we take a few minutes to enjoy ourselves and share it with you. For our first Fun Friday i thought i would introduce you to our children, Kiefer and Lucy.

Kiefer, is our youngest but is a more willing subject so i thought i would post him first. Kiefer is our big boy, he is a 150 LB Great Dane and is the biggest push over you have ever seen. He is so sweet and gentle that our 5 year old nephew has no problem walking him. When ever we describe Kiefer the word Jowls always comes up, but to truly get the full impact of the word you must see Kiefer to understand.


Next we have Lucy (A.K.A. Lucy-Fur), she is our Labradane(part Lab part dane). Unlike Kiefer who gets tired out after playing fetch for five minutes, Lucy could play all day and if your not throwing the stick, she is running around the yard looking for the mole that tunnels through our yard.

Nashville Portrait Photography- DLimage

Its not everyday that we have the opportunity to photograph a new born session, so when we do we often have so many ideas that we have a hard time knowing where to start. We were blessed this session with a very relaxed subject, baby Kristina, was absolutely wonderful to work with. We also had the chance to try a new trick that made her putty in our hands. It was great. Enjoy!
